It all started with sunshine and speaker stacks.

Since Filibuster began in 2014, we’ve hosted over 50 local events in-between our marquee upstate events (Sunset Sounds & Squadron). These local events were the foundation our community was built on, and were the laboratory where we developed the 4 pillars of the Filibuster experience:

1. Empower the individual, strengthen the community.

2. Music is the host.

3. Start with the familiar, deconstruct and rebuild.

4. Love your audience.

In 2016, Filibuster was named one of “NYCs best new parties” in publications including TimeOut and Gothamist.
