To celebrate a joint partnership with LAFC, Delta and Aeroméxico turned to us to develop a campaign that rewarded the fans helping LAFC “Take Off”.
Los Angeles is a hub of self expression, a place where Mexican and American styles blend beautifully. So we set out to create something that reflected their style as fans and individuals.
The Plan: convert a retired Delta B767 into jewelry for LAFC fans.
To reflect the diversity of LAFC’s fanbase, we partnered with Mexico City based jewelry designers Anndra Neen to help design the collection. Using metal from the 767, we then pressed over 1,000 wing shaped accessories to commemorate “LAFC Taking Off”.
We invited fans to a pop-up gallery where they would receive their piece and meet LAFC players. In the end, we were able to give LAFC’s most loyal fans a unique, tangible way to express their love for the team.
