To celebrate the release of the PlayStation Classic, Sony wanted to leverage a territory loved by gamers of all ages: sneakers. We worked with Nike and Paul George, one of the NBA’s most well known gamers to design the PG 2.5. By using the color palette of the original PlayStation console, we tapped into the nostalgia of PS1 users. The result was one of the hottest sneaker drops of the year, selling out immediately upon release.
